No traditional elevator shaft or separate machine room is required. The self-supporting lift travels through a carefully finished floor opening.

How much space does it require?

Duo models have a footprint under seven square feet; Trio models are under 13.5 square feet. The full installation area depends on door orientation, structure, clearances, and local code.

Can it carry a wheelchair?

The Trio Alta is designed for a standard wheelchair and is also helpful for people using walkers or rollators. We verify the mobility device and entry arrangement during planning.

What happens during a power outage?

Stiltz lifts include a backup system designed to safely complete travel during a power interruption. We explain operation and test safety systems during homeowner orientation.

Who handles construction and permits?

Carolina Housing Solutions manages the project as your licensed general contractor, including the structural work in the approved scope, electrical coordination, permits, inspections, finish repairs, installation, and final walkthrough.
